UI Design Systems Certificate

A practical program on building a design system that teams actually adopt: three-tier token architecture, composable component APIs, complete state coverage, documentation that answers real questions, and a versioned release process. You work from an interface audit through to shipping and deprecating a component. It ends with an online assessment and a certificate carrying a unique verification code in your ecertificate.pro panel.

  • Delivered in your dashboard
  • Certificate in 24–48 hours
  • ~24 hours of material
  • Stripe-secured checkout

What is this programme?

The UI Design Systems Certificate from ecertificate.pro is a self-paced online program covering design tokens, component library architecture, state design, documentation and versioned releases, and takes roughly 24 hours to finish. It ends with an online assessment; when you pass, the certificate is delivered inside your private ecertificate.pro panel rather than sent as an email attachment. Each certificate carries a unique verification code that can be checked in the ecertificate.pro database, and only there, because no other organisation holds these records. This is an independent certificate: it is not government-approved, not officially accredited, and it grants no license, no protected title and no guarantee of employment. What it evidences is concrete work, a token architecture, component APIs, accessibility baselines and a release process, which you can show next to a portfolio.

Who it is for

Product and UI designers who own a growing component library, front-end engineers maintaining a shared UI package, design technologists, and design leads who need one consistent system across several apps.

What you will be able to do

  • Audit a live product and turn scattered values into a de-duplicated scale and a usage-ranked component inventory
  • Structure tokens in primitive, semantic and component tiers with a naming grammar that survives multi-theme work
  • Generate CSS custom properties, TypeScript constants and native outputs from one token source using Style Dictionary in CI
  • Design component APIs that compose, variant/size/tone plus compound components, instead of ever-growing prop lists
  • Specify and build a full state matrix, including focus-visible, disabled, loading, empty, partial and error conditions
  • Meet WCAG 2.2 AA contrast and ARIA Authoring Practices keyboard behaviour, verified with axe and manual keyboard passes
  • Release a library with semantic versioning, automated changelogs, visual regression review and a documented deprecation path

How it works

Learning format

Self-paced written material, downloaded from your dashboard. No fixed schedule and no live sessions — you work through it when it suits you.

Material delivery

Everything appears in your dashboard as soon as your payment is confirmed. Files are served only to your signed-in session.

Prerequisites

Working knowledge of a UI design tool such as Figma and comfort reading HTML and CSS. Familiarity with a component framework (React, Vue or Svelte) and with Git helps in the pipeline and release modules, but no build-tooling experience is required.

Completion

Work through the eight modules at your own pace and complete the exercise attached to each one, then pass the final online assessment. The certificate, with its unique verification code, appears in your private ecertificate.pro panel as soon as you pass.

Your certificate

Once your completion is confirmed, we prepare your certificate and upload it to your dashboard, normally within 24–48 hours. You receive an e-mail as soon as it is there — you never have to chase it.

What this certificate is, plainly. It evidences completion of a ecertificate.pro training programme. It is not an accredited, state-regulated or nationally recognised qualification, and we never present it as one.

Refunds

Because the material is delivered digitally and immediately, purchases are non-refundable once the files have been made available to your account. The full terms are in our Refund Policy.

Frequently asked questions

Is this certificate accredited or government-approved?
No. ecertificate.pro is an independent online education platform, and this certificate is not accredited by any government body, university or professional council. It documents completed coursework and a passed assessment, nothing beyond that. It grants no license, no protected professional title and no academic credit.
How do I receive the certificate?
It is delivered inside your private panel on ecertificate.pro once you pass the assessment. It is never sent as an email attachment. From the panel you can download it and share the verification code with anyone who asks.
How can an employer verify it?
Every certificate carries a unique verification code that resolves in the ecertificate.pro database. Verification runs through ecertificate.pro only; the record is not filed with any third-party registry, authority or external database.
Do I need to write code to finish the course?
No, though you will get more from it if you can read HTML and CSS. The audit, token, state, accessibility and documentation modules work fully from a design tool, while the pipeline and release modules include code examples you can either run or simply read.
Which tools does the course use?
Figma variables and Tokens Studio for authoring, Style Dictionary for token transforms, Storybook for documentation, axe for accessibility checks, Changesets for versioning and Chromatic for visual regression review. The methods carry over if your team uses different tooling.
Will this certificate get me a design systems job?
No course can promise that, and this one does not. What it gives you is a defensible process and real artefacts, a token architecture, documented component APIs, a state matrix and a release workflow, that you can walk an interviewer through and apply in your current work.
