What is this programme?

The Supply Chain & Logistics Basics Certificate from ecertificate.pro is a self-paced online program covering demand planning, inventory control, lead time management and supplier evaluation. It teaches the working calculations used daily in operations roles: reorder points, safety inventory, economic order quantity, days of supply, forecast accuracy and on-time in-full scoring. The program runs about 20 hours and ends with an online assessment; passing releases a certificate with a unique verification code inside your private ecertificate.pro panel. That code is queried only against the ecertificate.pro database, because ecertificate.pro is an independent training provider - the certificate is not government-approved, is not accredited by any national education authority, and grants no professional license or title. It does not guarantee employment; it documents that you completed a defined body of coursework and passed the assessment.

Who it is for

Warehouse and purchasing staff moving into planning roles, small-business owners who order and hold inventory, e-commerce operators running their own fulfillment, and analysts or graduates preparing for junior supply chain and logistics interviews.

What you will be able to do

  • Build a rolling monthly demand forecast from shipment history and measure its accuracy with MAPE and forecast bias, so you know how far the plan can be trusted.
  • Calculate reorder point, safety inventory and economic order quantity for a real item, and defend the service-level assumption behind each number.
  • Segment an item list with ABC-XYZ analysis and apply a different counting and review rule to each segment instead of treating every item alike.
  • Decompose lead time into order processing, supplier production, transit, customs clearance and putaway, then shorten the longest component first.
  • Score suppliers on a weighted scorecard covering on-time in-full delivery, quality reject rate, responsiveness and price stability, and run a quarterly review from it.
  • Build a landed-cost sheet that puts three quotations on identical Incoterms so freight, duty and insurance are compared on the same basis.
  • Diagnose the common failures - stockouts, aging inventory, the bullwhip effect, expedited freight spend - and trace each one back to the planning rule that caused it.

How it works

Learning format

Self-paced written material, downloaded from your dashboard. No fixed schedule and no live sessions — you work through it when it suits you.

Material delivery

Everything appears in your dashboard as soon as your payment is confirmed. Files are served only to your signed-in session.

Prerequisites

No prior supply chain experience is required. You need arithmetic confidence and basic spreadsheet skills - SUMIFS, averages, standard deviation and simple charts - because most exercises are built in a spreadsheet. All templates are provided and no ERP access is needed.

Completion

Work through the eight modules at your own pace and complete the spreadsheet exercises, then pass the final calculation and multiple-choice assessment with 70% or higher. The certificate, carrying its unique verification code, appears in your private ecertificate.pro panel immediately after you pass.

Your certificate

Once your completion is confirmed, we prepare your certificate and upload it to your dashboard, normally within 24–48 hours. You receive an e-mail as soon as it is there — you never have to chase it.

What this certificate is, plainly. It evidences completion of a ecertificate.pro training programme. It is not an accredited, state-regulated or nationally recognised qualification, and we never present it as one.

Refunds

Because the material is delivered digitally and immediately, purchases are non-refundable once the files have been made available to your account. The full terms are in our Refund Policy.

Frequently asked questions

Is this certificate accredited or government-approved?
No. ecertificate.pro is an independent online training provider that has published its own programs since 2016. This certificate is not government-approved, is not accredited by any national education authority, and does not grant a professional license or job title. It records that you completed a defined body of coursework and passed the assessment.
How and where is the certificate delivered?
It is issued to your private ecertificate.pro panel and is never sent as an email attachment. Once you pass the assessment, log in and the certificate is there to view and download, with its unique verification code printed on it.
How can an employer check that it is genuine?
Every certificate carries a unique verification code that is queried on ecertificate.pro against our own database. No outside registry holds these records, and we never claim that your certificate is filed with any third-party institution.
Do I need special software or ERP access?
No. Every exercise runs in a spreadsheet, and the templates are provided: a forecast workbook, a safety inventory calculator, an ABC-XYZ segmentation sheet, a landed-cost comparison and a supplier scorecard. If you already work in an ERP or WMS, the same formulas map directly onto the reports it produces.
Will this certificate get me a job in logistics?
It cannot promise that, and any provider claiming otherwise is misleading you. What it gives you is the vocabulary, the working calculations and finished spreadsheet files you can walk an interviewer through. Hiring decisions rest entirely with employers.
How long does it take and is there a deadline?
About 20 hours of study in total, which you can spread across as many weeks as you like. There is no fixed schedule and no expiry on access; you can pause and resume, and the assessment can be retaken if you do not reach 70% on the first attempt.
