Business Analysis Certificate

A self-paced online program built around the four things a business analyst is actually judged on: knowing who is affected by a change, getting real requirements out of them, drawing the process as it truly runs, and writing criteria a tester can pass or fail. Every module ends with an artifact you produce yourself — a context diagram, an influence and interest grid, a BPMN map, a rules catalog, a traceability matrix. Examples come from ordinary operational work: an order-to-cash rework, a customer onboarding flow, an internal approval chain.

What is this programme?

The Business Analysis Certificate from ecertificate.pro is an independent, self-paced online program covering analysis of affected parties, requirements elicitation, BPMN process mapping and acceptance criteria writing, with roughly 24 hours of study and a practical submission. It is issued by ecertificate.pro on its own authority: it is not government-approved, not accredited by any official education body, and it does not grant a professional license, title or legal qualification. It is not equivalent to, affiliated with or endorsed by professional credentials such as IIBA's CBAP or PMI-PBA, and it does not guarantee a job, an interview or a salary increase. Each certificate carries a unique verification code that resolves only in the ecertificate.pro database; no third-party registry holds a copy of the record. Its practical value is the evidence behind it — the diagrams, rules catalogs and criteria you produce and can show in a portfolio or a hiring conversation.

Who it is for

Junior and aspiring business analysts, product owners and project coordinators who already write requirements but without a repeatable method; operations and process specialists documenting how work really flows; developers, testers and support leads who keep receiving vague tickets and want to push back with structure; consultants moving from delivery work into analysis.

What you will be able to do

  • Turn a one-line business request into a scoped problem statement, a context diagram and a measurable objective with named constraints.
  • Build a register of every affected group using the onion model, place each one on an influence and interest grid, and assign RACI roles per deliverable.
  • Run structured interviews and facilitated workshops that produce evidence, keeping a raw elicitation log separate from the analyzed requirement.
  • Model as-is and to-be processes in BPMN 2.0 with pools, lanes, gateways, message and timer events, plus cycle time and rework loop annotations.
  • Write user stories, a numbered business rules catalog with decision tables, and non-functional requirements stated as measurable thresholds.
  • Rank scope with MoSCoW and weighted scoring, and maintain a traceability matrix from objective to requirement to design element to test case.
  • Write Given / When / Then acceptance criteria covering alternate paths, error handling and boundary values, then run a UAT cycle with defect triage.

How it works

Learning format

Self-paced written material, downloaded from your dashboard. No fixed schedule and no live sessions — you work through it when it suits you.

Material delivery

Everything appears in your dashboard as soon as your payment is confirmed. Files are served only to your signed-in session.

Prerequisites

None beyond experience in any office or operational role. No coding, no statistics and no prior certification required. You need a computer, a diagramming tool (draw.io, Lucidchart or Visio all work — free options are fine) and a spreadsheet application. All materials and templates are in English.

Completion

You work through the modules at your own pace, then complete a graded final assessment plus one practical submission: a context diagram, a BPMN process map and an acceptance criteria set for a supplied case. Once both are passed, the certificate with its unique verification code is published in your private ecertificate.pro panel — it is never sent as an email attachment.

Your certificate

Once your completion is confirmed, we prepare your certificate and upload it to your dashboard, normally within 24–48 hours. You receive an e-mail as soon as it is there — you never have to chase it.

What this certificate is, plainly. It evidences completion of a ecertificate.pro training programme. It is not an accredited, state-regulated or nationally recognised qualification, and we never present it as one.

Refunds

Because the material is delivered digitally and immediately, purchases are non-refundable once the files have been made available to your account. The full terms are in our Refund Policy.

Frequently asked questions

Is this certificate accredited or government-approved?
No. ecertificate.pro is an independent training provider and issues this certificate on its own authority. It is not accredited by any national education authority, not approved by a government body, and not affiliated with or equivalent to IIBA or PMI credentials. It documents one thing honestly: that you completed this specific program and passed its assessment.
Will it get me a business analyst job?
No certificate guarantees a job, and we will not claim otherwise. Hiring conversations for analysis roles often turn to work samples — a process map, a requirements document, a set of acceptance criteria. This program is structured so you finish holding those artifacts, which is the kind of evidence that carries weight in an interview.
How is the certificate delivered?
It is published in your private panel on ecertificate.pro once you pass the final assessment and your practical submission is accepted. It is never sent as an email attachment. You download it yourself from the panel, and you can download it again at any time.
How does verification work?
Every certificate carries a unique verification code printed on it. Anyone you share it with can enter that code on ecertificate.pro to see the holder name, the program and the issue date. The code resolves only in the ecertificate.pro database — we do not submit records to any external or third-party registry.
Do I need technical or prior analysis experience?
No. The material starts from a plain business request and builds the method up step by step. You do not need to write or read code. If you have worked with tickets, approvals, reporting or handoffs in any operational role, most of the examples will already look familiar.
How long does it take and is there a deadline?
About 24 hours of focused work, which you can spread across three to six weeks at your own pace. There is no fixed schedule and no expiry on access, so you can pause and return. The practical submission is reviewed and returned with written feedback, so allow a few days for that step.
