Business & Management

HR & People Management Certificate

A hands-on program for the people side of a business: role scorecards, structured interview kits, performance cycles, feedback conversations, retention diagnostics and clean exits. Each module produces something usable - an intake brief, a rating scale, a 30/60/90 plan, a 1:1 agenda, an improvement plan or an offboarding checklist. The focus is repeatable process and defensible documentation rather than instinct.

What is this programme?

The HR & People Management Certificate from ecertificate.pro is an independent, self-paced online program covering the employee lifecycle end to end: recruitment and structured interviewing, onboarding, goal setting and performance reviews, feedback conversations, retention work and offboarding. It takes roughly 22 hours and finishes with an online assessment; once you pass, the certificate is delivered to your private panel on ecertificate.pro carrying a unique verification code that can be checked only in the ecertificate.pro database. It is not government-approved, not officially accredited by any authority, and it does not grant a licence, a protected professional title or any guarantee of employment. It is also not legal advice: dismissal rules, notice periods and record-keeping duties differ by country, so local law and qualified counsel still govern what you may do. The program is aimed at new people managers, HR generalists, recruiters and small-company founders who run hiring and performance themselves.

Who it is for

New and first-time people managers, HR generalists and coordinators, in-house recruiters, team leads who run performance reviews, and founders or operations managers at small companies who handle hiring and employee relations without a dedicated HR function.

What you will be able to do

  • Run a hiring manager intake meeting that ends with a signed-off role scorecard, weighted must-have criteria and an agreed salary band.
  • Assemble a structured interview kit: a competency question bank, behavioural probes, a work-sample task and an anchored 1-5 rating scale every interviewer uses.
  • Read a hiring funnel properly - stage drop-off, time-to-hire, source quality, offer acceptance rate - and fix the stage that is actually leaking.
  • Design a 30/60/90 onboarding plan with access checklists, named check-in dates and a documented probation decision.
  • Run a performance cycle from goal setting through calibration, and write review records that still hold up months later.
  • Deliver Situation-Behaviour-Impact feedback, run a focused weekly 1:1, and handle a defensive reaction without dropping the message.
  • Build a measurable improvement plan and run offboarding end to end: exit interview, knowledge transfer, access revocation and rehire policy.

How it works

Learning format

Self-paced written material, downloaded from your dashboard. No fixed schedule and no live sessions — you work through it when it suits you.

Material delivery

Everything appears in your dashboard as soon as your payment is confirmed. Files are served only to your signed-in session.

Prerequisites

None. No prior HR qualification is required and the workflows are tool-agnostic, so any applicant tracking system or HR information system will do. Comfort with a spreadsheet helps for the hiring funnel and compensation band exercises.

Completion

Work through the self-paced modules and their downloadable templates, then pass the final online assessment, which mixes knowledge questions with short scenario judgements. On passing, the certificate is issued with a unique verification code to your private ecertificate.pro panel.

Your certificate

Once your completion is confirmed, we prepare your certificate and upload it to your dashboard, normally within 24–48 hours. You receive an e-mail as soon as it is there — you never have to chase it.

What this certificate is, plainly. It evidences completion of a ecertificate.pro training programme. It is not an accredited, state-regulated or nationally recognised qualification, and we never present it as one.

Refunds

Because the material is delivered digitally and immediately, purchases are non-refundable once the files have been made available to your account. The full terms are in our Refund Policy.

Frequently asked questions

Is this certificate accredited or government-approved?
No. ecertificate.pro is an independent training provider, not a university, regulator or accreditation body. The certificate is not officially accredited, not government-approved, and it grants no licence, protected title or professional membership. What it evidences is that you completed this program and passed its assessment - and that anyone can verify with the code.
Will it get me an HR job or a promotion?
It cannot promise either, and any provider that does is selling you something. Hiring decisions rest with employers and depend on experience, references and interviews. What this program gives you is concrete process knowledge and artefacts - a role scorecard, an interview kit, a review template - that you can point to in a conversation with a hiring manager.
How do I receive the certificate, and how is it verified?
Once you pass, the certificate is issued to your private panel on ecertificate.pro, where you can view and download it; it is never sent as an email attachment. Each certificate carries a unique verification code that is queried only in the ecertificate.pro database. It is not registered with, or listed by, any third-party institution or registry.
Does the program cover employment law in my country?
No. Notice periods, dismissal grounds, probation limits, data-retention duties and works-council or union obligations vary by jurisdiction, and this program does not teach any single country's statutes. It teaches process and conversation design that you then align with local law - check your own regulations or a qualified adviser for anything with legal consequence.
Do I need HR experience or an HR system to take it?
No. The material starts from first principles and is tool-agnostic, so it works whether you run hiring in a full applicant tracking system or in a shared spreadsheet. A manager who has never written a review and a coordinator who processes paperwork without owning the process both get use out of it.
How long does it take?
Plan for roughly 22 hours of study, with a short assessment at the end. The pace is yours: you can work through it in a few long sittings or spread it across two to four weeks alongside a full-time job, and you can pause and resume at any point.
