What is this programme?
The Marketing Analytics & Attribution Certificate is an independent online course from ecertificate.pro covering event tracking design, client-side and server-side collection, multi-touch and data-driven attribution models, funnel and cohort analysis in SQL, warehouse modeling, dashboards, and data quality checks. It is aimed at marketing analysts, growth marketers and agency reporting teams who need to explain which channels earn credit for revenue and how much confidence that answer deserves. The course takes roughly 24 hours of self-paced study and ends with an assessment and a case study; the certificate is delivered inside the learner's private ecertificate.pro panel and carries a unique verification code that is checked only in the ecertificate.pro database. This certificate is not government approved, not accredited by any regulator or academic body, and it does not grant a license, professional title or protected designation. It also does not guarantee employment, promotion or any particular salary — it documents completion of a defined curriculum. What carries weight in a hiring conversation is the practical work produced along the way: the tracking plan, the attribution queries, the reconciliation checklist and the dashboard.
Who it is for
Marketing analysts, growth and performance marketing specialists, agency reporting teams, analytics engineers moving into marketing data, and founders who own their own acquisition reporting.
What you will be able to do
- Write a versioned tracking plan that fixes event names, required properties, and the journey step each event maps to before any code ships
- Implement collection through a data layer, a Google Tag Manager web container and a server-side endpoint, including consent signals and first-party identifier handling
- Build first-touch, last-touch, linear, time-decay and position-based attribution tables in SQL and explain why channel credit moves from one model to the next
- Implement a Markov removal-effect model and read Shapley credit shares without presenting either as proof of causality
- Design a geo holdout or conversion lift test, size it from a minimum detectable effect and a chosen power level, and read the result with its confidence interval
- Model raw events into staging and mart tables with dbt, then build a CAC, ROAS and conversion-rate dashboard on a star schema
- Run automated data quality tests and reconcile warehouse figures against ad platform reports and payment records, documenting known gaps

How it works
Learning format
Self-paced written material, downloaded from your dashboard. No fixed schedule and no live sessions — you work through it when it suits you.
Material delivery
Everything appears in your dashboard as soon as your payment is confirmed. Files are served only to your signed-in session.
Prerequisites
Comfort with spreadsheets and basic SQL (SELECT, JOIN, GROUP BY) is expected; window functions, self-joins and cohort queries are taught in the course. Familiarity with at least one ad platform or web analytics tool helps. Free tiers of GA4, Google Tag Manager, a BigQuery sandbox, dbt Core and Looker Studio are enough to finish every exercise — no paid license is required.
Completion
Each module ends with an applied task — a versioned tracking plan, an SQL attribution query, a funnel breakdown, a dashboard tile — and the course closes with a multiple-choice assessment plus one end-to-end case study on a sample event dataset. Once the assessment is passed, the certificate is issued to your private ecertificate.pro panel with its unique verification code.
Your certificate
Once your completion is confirmed, we prepare your certificate and upload it to your dashboard, normally within 24–48 hours. You receive an e-mail as soon as it is there — you never have to chase it.
Refunds
Because the material is delivered digitally and immediately, purchases are non-refundable once the files have been made available to your account. The full terms are in our Refund Policy.
