What is this programme?
The Digital Marketing Pro Certificate is an independent, self-paced online programme that teaches keyword research and intent mapping, on-page and technical SEO, paid search and paid social campaign structure, content planning, email lifecycle marketing, and analytics with conversion tracking and attribution. It is designed for beginners, career changers and junior marketers who want a single structured path, and it is assessed through an online test plus a practical campaign-planning exercise. The document issued at the end is a certificate of completion from ecertificate.pro: it records that the coursework was finished and is not an accredited, licensed or regulated qualification, and it does not grant membership of any professional body or a public verification lookup. Treat it as evidence of structured self-study to present alongside a portfolio of real campaigns, not as a replacement for a university degree or an advertising platform's own credential.
Who it is for
Suited to career changers, small business owners and junior marketers who want one structured route through SEO, paid media, email and analytics instead of scattered tutorials. Also useful for freelancers, e-commerce operators and agency assistants who already publish content but cannot yet explain the numbers behind it.
What you will be able to do
- Build a keyword map that sorts terms by search intent and assigns each cluster to a single target page, avoiding pages that compete with each other
- Structure a paid search account into campaigns, ad groups, match types and negative keyword lists with a documented bid and budget logic
- Rewrite page titles, meta descriptions, heading hierarchy and internal links against an on-page checklist you can reuse across a site
- Set up UTM parameter taxonomy and event-based conversion tracking, then read funnel drop-off between impression, click, session and conversion
- Calculate CTR, CPC, CPA, ROAS and customer acquisition cost, and use them to argue for moving budget between channels
- Produce a 90-day content calendar with briefs, formats, distribution channels, refresh dates and a review cadence
Modules
-
1
Search Foundations and Keyword Research How search engines crawl, index and rank; classifying queries as informational, commercial, navigational or transactional; building seed lists and expanding them into clusters; weighing search volume against competition and business value; mapping one intent to one page to prevent keyword cannibalisation.
-
2
On-Page and Technical SEO Title tags, meta descriptions and H1-H3 hierarchy; internal linking and anchor text; URL structure, canonical tags and redirect handling; sitemaps, robots directives and crawl budget in plain terms; page speed and mobile rendering checks; structured data basics for articles, products and FAQs.
-
3
Paid Search and Paid Social Account architecture from campaign to ad group to creative; keyword match types and negative lists; ad copy frameworks and responsive asset combinations; audience targeting, lookalikes and exclusions; manual versus automated bidding; budget pacing, frequency capping and structured creative testing rather than random rotation.
-
4
Content Strategy and Editorial Production Turning a keyword cluster into a content brief with angle, outline, sources and internal link targets; choosing formats (guide, comparison, case write-up, short video, newsletter); writing for scannability; building an editorial calendar; repurposing one asset across channels; scheduling content refreshes instead of endless new posts.
-
5
Email Lifecycle and Segmentation Permission-based list building and consent records; welcome, abandoned-cart, post-purchase and re-engagement sequences; segmenting by behaviour, recency and value; subject line and send-time testing; deliverability hygiene — authentication basics, bounce handling, list pruning and unsubscribe practice.
-
6
Analytics, Attribution and Reporting Defining conversion events and micro-conversions; consistent UTM naming; reading acquisition, engagement and funnel reports; last-click versus data-driven attribution and why channel numbers disagree; conversion windows; cohort and retention basics; building a one-page monthly report that leads with decisions, not screenshots.
How it works
Learning format
Self-paced written material, downloaded from your dashboard. No fixed schedule and no live sessions — you work through it when it suits you.
Material delivery
Everything appears in your dashboard as soon as your payment is confirmed. Files are served only to your signed-in session.
Prerequisites
No prior marketing study, degree or coding knowledge is required. You need a computer with a stable internet connection, comfortable reading English, and basic spreadsheet skills (filtering, simple formulas). A live website, ad budget or advertising account is optional — every exercise can be completed with the sample data and scenarios supplied in your panel.
Completion
Course materials are released in your secure panel immediately after enrolment and stay available there. You study at your own pace, then complete an online assessment of multiple-choice and short-answer questions plus one practical exercise: a small campaign plan covering keyword map, ad group structure, landing page notes and the metrics you would report. The pass mark is 70 percent, and a retake is available if you fall short. Once you pass, your completion certificate is prepared and uploaded to your panel within 24-48 hours as a downloadable PDF, and you are notified by email.
Your certificate
Once your completion is confirmed, we prepare your certificate and upload it to your dashboard, normally within 24–48 hours. You receive an e-mail as soon as it is there — you never have to chase it.
Refunds
Because the material is delivered digitally and immediately, purchases are non-refundable once the files have been made available to your account. The full terms are in our Refund Policy.
