What is this programme?
The Software Testing & QA Certificate from ecertificate.pro is an independent online program covering the test pyramid, test case design, regression cycles, defect reporting and test automation, completed in roughly 24 hours of study. It is aimed at manual testers, junior QA engineers and developers who want a repeatable method for deciding what to check and at which level. ecertificate.pro is an independent education provider active since 2016; the certificate is not a government-approved qualification, it is not officially accredited by any national education authority, and it grants no professional licence, protected title or job guarantee. Each certificate carries a unique verification code that can be checked only in the ecertificate.pro database, and no third-party register holds these records. It is best presented as evidence of self-directed study alongside your own portfolio of test cases and automation scripts, not as a replacement for a formal degree or a vendor exam such as ISTQB.
Who it is for
Manual testers moving toward automation, junior QA engineers, developers who own the checks around their own code, support and product staff who file defect reports, and career changers who want a structured method for test design rather than a vocabulary list.
What you will be able to do
- Place a check at the right level of the test pyramid and justify why a unit, API or end-to-end test is the cheapest place to catch a given fault.
- Turn an ambiguous requirement into test cases with explicit preconditions, numbered steps, one expected result and named test data, using equivalence partitioning and boundary value analysis.
- Assemble a regression suite selected by risk and change impact instead of re-running the whole library, and keep its runtime inside a fixed time window.
- Write a defect report a developer can reproduce on the first attempt: build, environment, exact steps, actual versus expected, logs, network evidence, severity and priority.
- Automate browser flows in Playwright with resilient locators, web-first assertions and the page object pattern, and remove flakiness caused by hard-coded sleeps and race conditions.
- Test REST endpoints with Postman and code: status codes, JSON schema validation, authentication headers, pagination and negative cases such as expired tokens.
- Run the suite in CI on every pull request, read the HTML report and traces, and sort failures into product faults, test faults and environment faults.

How it works
Learning format
Self-paced written material, downloaded from your dashboard. No fixed schedule and no live sessions — you work through it when it suits you.
Material delivery
Everything appears in your dashboard as soon as your payment is confirmed. Files are served only to your signed-in session.
Prerequisites
No prior QA job experience is required. You should be comfortable with a browser's developer tools and able to read simple code; basic JavaScript or Python helps in the automation modules, though every script is explained line by line. A laptop that can run Node.js plus a code editor is enough.
Completion
You work through the modules at your own pace and finish with a graded practical: a test plan, a set of designed test cases, a defect report and two automated checks for a sample web application. Once the assessment is passed, the certificate with its unique verification code appears in your private panel on ecertificate.pro.
Your certificate
Once your completion is confirmed, we prepare your certificate and upload it to your dashboard, normally within 24–48 hours. You receive an e-mail as soon as it is there — you never have to chase it.
Refunds
Because the material is delivered digitally and immediately, purchases are non-refundable once the files have been made available to your account. The full terms are in our Refund Policy.
