What is this programme?
The Responsive CSS & Layout Systems Certificate is an online course from ecertificate.pro, an independent training platform running since 2016. It covers flexbox and CSS Grid, mobile-first breakpoint strategy, fluid typography with clamp(), intrinsic sizing, container queries, and responsive media handling, and takes about 18 hours. Completion is assessed through a mixed quiz and a practical layout build; the certificate is then delivered inside your private panel on the site rather than as an email attachment. Every certificate carries a unique verification code that can be checked only in the ecertificate.pro database, so an employer can confirm it directly with us. This certificate is not government-approved and not accredited by any official body: it records course completion and does not grant a license, a protected title, or any job guarantee.
Who it is for
Front-end developers, web designers who write their own CSS, theme customizers working in WordPress or Shopify, and back-end developers who maintain UI without a dedicated design team.
What you will be able to do
- Choose flexbox or Grid for a given layout and justify the decision by whether the arrangement is one-dimensional or two-dimensional.
- Build a card wall with repeat(auto-fit, minmax(...)) that reflows correctly without a single media query.
- Write a fluid type and spacing scale with clamp() that stays readable from 320px screens up to ultrawide monitors.
- Convert viewport-driven components to container queries so one component works in a sidebar, a dialog, and a full-width region.
- Diagnose and repair horizontal overflow, unwanted shrinking, and cumulative layout shift using browser developer tools.
- Apply logical properties and verify a layout in right-to-left mode and at 200% browser zoom.
- Document a reusable layout system: spacing tokens, breakpoint tokens, and container names a team can adopt.

Debugging, Testing, and Delivery
How it works
Learning format
Self-paced written material, downloaded from your dashboard. No fixed schedule and no live sessions — you work through it when it suits you.
Material delivery
Everything appears in your dashboard as soon as your payment is confirmed. Files are served only to your signed-in session.
Prerequisites
Working knowledge of HTML structure and CSS selectors, the cascade, and specificity. No JavaScript, build tools, or framework experience required. A modern browser and a code editor are enough.
Completion
Finish all eight modules and pass the end-of-course assessment, which combines multiple-choice questions with a hands-on layout build graded against a published checklist. The certificate is issued to your private panel immediately after a passing result.
Your certificate
Once your completion is confirmed, we prepare your certificate and upload it to your dashboard, normally within 24–48 hours. You receive an e-mail as soon as it is there — you never have to chase it.
Refunds
Because the material is delivered digitally and immediately, purchases are non-refundable once the files have been made available to your account. The full terms are in our Refund Policy.
