What is this programme?
Platform Support Desk Operations Certificate is an online, self-paced course from ecertificate.pro covering how a software support desk captures incoming requests, classifies them, prioritises them with an impact and urgency matrix, escalates across support tiers, tracks SLA clocks and closes the loop with a post-incident report. It takes about 20 hours and ends with an online assessment; once you pass, the certificate appears in your private ecertificate.pro panel and is never sent as an email attachment. Each certificate carries a unique verification code that an employer can check only in the ecertificate.pro database, and it is not registered with any other institution. This is an independent training certificate: it is not government approved, not officially accredited, and it grants no licence, protected title or legal authority. It does not guarantee employment or a promotion; what it documents is that you completed and passed the assessed material. It suits support agents, team leads and operations staff who want a repeatable desk process they can write down, not a glossary.
Who it is for
Support agents and team leads on software or platform desks, technical account managers, operations and NOC staff, QA engineers who receive escalated defects, and founders who still answer support themselves and need a written process before headcount grows.
What you will be able to do
- Classify an incoming request into a two-level taxonomy and attach the minimum diagnostic set - environment, build version, account ID, reproduction path, timestamps - before it moves anywhere.
- Assign P1 to P4 with an impact and urgency matrix you can defend in writing, and apply the documented override rule instead of reacting to whoever is loudest.
- Write SLA targets that separate first response, update cadence, service restoration and full resolution, with explicit clock pause conditions and a business calendar.
- Escalate functionally to L2 or L3 with a handoff package that states what has already been ruled out, and hierarchically to a duty manager once the timebox expires.
- Declare a major incident against written criteria, split incident commander and communications duties, and publish status updates on a fixed cadence.
- Produce a blameless post-incident report with a reconstructed timeline, detection and mitigation timings, contributing factors and action items that each carry an owner and a due date.
- Read queue health from backlog age, reopen rate and first-contact resolution rather than raw ticket counts, and run a shift handover that loses nothing.

How it works
Learning format
Self-paced written material, downloaded from your dashboard. No fixed schedule and no live sessions — you work through it when it suits you.
Material delivery
Everything appears in your dashboard as soon as your payment is confirmed. Files are served only to your signed-in session.
Prerequisites
No formal prerequisites. You should have used a ticketing system as an agent or a requester, be comfortable reading application logs and timestamps across time zones, and have working English. No coding is required.
Completion
Work through the eight modules at your own pace, then pass the online final assessment - multiple choice plus short triage scenarios you must classify and prioritise - with a score of 70 percent or higher. The certificate is issued to your private ecertificate.pro panel with a unique verification code; it is not emailed as an attachment.
Your certificate
Once your completion is confirmed, we prepare your certificate and upload it to your dashboard, normally within 24–48 hours. You receive an e-mail as soon as it is there — you never have to chase it.
Refunds
Because the material is delivered digitally and immediately, purchases are non-refundable once the files have been made available to your account. The full terms are in our Refund Policy.
