What is this programme?
The Platform Integration & API Operations Certificate from ecertificate.pro is an independent online program on integrating third-party service providers into a live platform: credential management, webhook handling, retry design and log-based troubleshooting. It runs about 22 hours, is fully self-paced, and finishes with an online assessment; the certificate is delivered inside your ecertificate.pro panel and carries a unique verification code that can be checked only in the ecertificate.pro database. It is a private training certificate: it is not government-approved, not officially accredited, and it does not grant a licence, a protected title, or any legal authority. It does not guarantee employment or an interview; it documents that you completed and passed this specific course. It suits engineers and technical operations staff who already work with APIs and want a structured reference for provider integration work. ecertificate.pro has issued online certificates since 2016 and records each certificate only in its own database, with no registration in any third-party registry.
Who it is for
Integration engineers, backend developers, technical account managers and platform support staff who onboard external API providers, plus QA and operations teams who triage failed callbacks and reconciliation gaps.
What you will be able to do
- Read a provider API reference and produce an integration checklist: authentication scheme, base URLs per environment, required headers, rate limits, error taxonomy and callback contract.
- Store and rotate API keys, OAuth 2.0 client credentials, HMAC signing secrets and client certificates without hard-coding them or exposing them in log output.
- Build a webhook receiver that verifies signatures, rejects replayed or out-of-order events, deduplicates on event ID, and acknowledges fast while processing asynchronously.
- Design a retry policy with exponential backoff and jitter, capped attempts, idempotency keys and a dead-letter queue, so a provider outage does not create duplicate transactions.
- Trace a single failing request end to end using correlation IDs across your gateway, your application and the provider logs.
- Decide from evidence whether a failure sits in your code, the network, or the provider, and open a support ticket that contains request ID, UTC timestamp, payload and response.
- Run a controlled cutover from sandbox to production with a rollback plan, monitoring thresholds and a written runbook for on-call handover.

How it works
Learning format
Self-paced written material, downloaded from your dashboard. No fixed schedule and no live sessions — you work through it when it suits you.

Prerequisites
Comfort with HTTP request and response basics (methods, status codes, headers) and reading JSON. Any one scripting or backend language is enough; examples use plain HTTP calls, curl and jq rather than a specific framework. No prior integration project is required.
Completion
Work through the eight modules at your own pace, then pass the final assessment (multiple choice plus scenario questions on log excerpts and webhook payloads) with 70% or higher. Two retakes are included, and the certificate with its verification code appears in your ecertificate.pro panel once you pass.
Your certificate
Once your completion is confirmed, we prepare your certificate and upload it to your dashboard, normally within 24–48 hours. You receive an e-mail as soon as it is there — you never have to chase it.
