Email Marketing & Automation Certificate

This certificate course covers the working parts of an email program: consent capture, subscriber data modelling, segmentation, lifecycle automation, authentication and deliverability, message rendering and disciplined A/B testing. Each module ends with a practical artefact — a consent record schema, a flow diagram, a DMARC rollout plan, a test log — so you finish with documents you can use at work. Assessment is online, and the certificate is issued by ecertificate.pro as an independent training provider.

What is this programme?

The Email Marketing & Automation Certificate from ecertificate.pro is a self-paced online course covering list segmentation, automation flows, deliverability, A/B testing and consent management, finished with an online assessment. It teaches how to build a consented subscriber list, configure SPF, DKIM and DMARC, design welcome, cart-recovery, post-purchase and win-back flows, and run experiments that produce a decision rather than a hunch. The course takes roughly 20 hours and assumes no technical background beyond spreadsheets and basic HTML. The certificate is issued independently by ecertificate.pro: it is not government-approved, not officially accredited, and it grants no licence, professional title or job guarantee. Every certificate carries a unique verification code that can be checked only in the ecertificate.pro database, and it is delivered inside the learner's private panel rather than as an email attachment.

Who it is for

Email and CRM marketers, growth and e-commerce specialists, marketing automation operators, agency account managers who own client email programs, and founders running their own sends who need deliverability, segmentation and consent handling to stop being guesswork.

What you will be able to do

  • Design a subscriber data model that stores consent source, timestamp, form wording and permission scope on every record.
  • Build RFM and engagement-recency segments, and write a sunset policy that retires addresses after a defined window of inactivity.
  • Configure SPF, DKIM and DMARC alignment, then read aggregate DMARC reports to find unauthenticated sources sending as your domain.
  • Map welcome, cart-recovery, post-purchase and win-back flows into one lifecycle diagram with entry rules, exit rules, frequency caps and suppression logic.
  • Run A/B tests with a pre-declared primary metric and sample size, and read the result without stopping the test early.
  • Diagnose deliverability incidents from bounce codes, complaint feedback loops, seed placement checks and blocklist lookups.
  • Assemble a GDPR/KVKK consent file: double opt-in evidence, privacy notice wording, retention periods and a deletion workflow.

How it works

Learning format

Self-paced written material, downloaded from your dashboard. No fixed schedule and no live sessions — you work through it when it suits you.

Material delivery

Everything appears in your dashboard as soon as your payment is confirmed. Files are served only to your signed-in session.

Prerequisites

No formal prerequisites. You need working English, comfort with spreadsheets, and the ability to read basic HTML. Access to any email sending platform (a free tier is enough) makes the exercises easier but is not required. No coding or DNS administration experience is assumed — DNS records are explained from zero.

Completion

Work through the eight modules at your own pace, then pass the online assessment of multiple-choice and scenario questions with a score of 70% or higher; retakes are allowed. The certificate, carrying its unique verification code, appears in your private ecertificate.pro panel as soon as you pass.

Your certificate

Once your completion is confirmed, we prepare your certificate and upload it to your dashboard, normally within 24–48 hours. You receive an e-mail as soon as it is there — you never have to chase it.

What this certificate is, plainly. It evidences completion of a ecertificate.pro training programme. It is not an accredited, state-regulated or nationally recognised qualification, and we never present it as one.

Refunds

Because the material is delivered digitally and immediately, purchases are non-refundable once the files have been made available to your account. The full terms are in our Refund Policy.

Frequently asked questions

Is this certificate accredited or government-approved?
No. ecertificate.pro is an independent training provider, not a university, ministry or accreditation body. The certificate documents that you completed this course and passed its assessment — nothing more. It confers no licence, no protected title and no legal qualification.
How is the certificate delivered, and how can an employer verify it?
After you pass, the certificate appears in your private panel on ecertificate.pro; it is not sent as an email attachment. Each certificate carries a unique verification code, and that code is checked only in the ecertificate.pro database — no third-party registry holds it.
Will this course get me a job in email marketing?
No course can promise that, and we do not. Hiring depends on your experience, portfolio and the employer. What this course gives you is a documented skill set plus concrete work samples — a segmentation plan, a lifecycle flow map, a DMARC rollout plan and a test log — that you can put in front of an interviewer.
Do I need my own sending platform account to follow along?
It helps, but it is not required. The exercises are tool-neutral: entry triggers, wait steps, branch conditions, suppression rules and consent fields exist under different names in every platform, so the workflows transfer. A free tier of any sending tool is enough for the hands-on parts.
Does the deliverability section really cover DNS records like SPF and DKIM?
Yes, in detail. You will see how an SPF record is assembled and why it must stay within the ten DNS lookup limit, how DKIM keys are published and rotated, how to move a DMARC policy from none to quarantine to reject, and how to read aggregate DMARC reports to find sources sending as your domain without authorisation.
How long does it take, and is there a deadline?
Around 20 hours of study, spread however suits you — there is no deadline and no fixed cohort start date. If you do not reach the pass mark on your first attempt, the assessment can be retaken.
