Prerequisites

Comfort with a spreadsheet — pivot tables, basic formulas — and access to any free charting tool such as Datawrapper, Flourish or a BI trial. No statistics degree, no programming and no design background required; Python and R examples are provided but optional.

Completion

You complete eight modules, each closing with a short quiz, then submit a final redesign brief: one flawed chart rebuilt, with a written rationale for the chart form, palette and annotation choices. Passing the quizzes and submitting the redesign releases the certificate to your private panel.

Your certificate

Once your completion is confirmed, we prepare your certificate and upload it to your dashboard, normally within 24–48 hours. You receive an e-mail as soon as it is there — you never have to chase it.

How do I receive the certificate?

Do I need to know Python or R?
No. The whole course can be completed with a spreadsheet plus one free charting tool such as Datawrapper or Flourish. Python (matplotlib, Plotly) and R (ggplot2) examples are included for those who want them, but they are optional and never required to pass.
Will this course get me a job as a data analyst?
