What is this programme?
The Agile Project Management Certificate is a self-paced online course from ecertificate.pro, an independent training provider, covering how to run iterative delivery with Scrum and Kanban: writing and splitting user stories, ordering a product backlog, facilitating sprint events, estimating with story points, forecasting releases from velocity, and using WIP limits and cycle-time data to find where work stalls. It is aimed at project coordinators, team leads and specialists moving into delivery roles who need working mechanics rather than theory, and it requires no prior agile experience. The course material is delivered in the buyer's secure account panel, and after the final assessment a completion certificate is uploaded there within 24-48 hours. Its limits should be stated plainly: this is a certificate of completion, not a regulated qualification, not a professional licence, and not a substitute for credentials issued by framework bodies or professional associations; it carries no academic credit, and there is currently no public lookup service for checking a certificate, so employers can only be shown the document itself.

What you will be able to do
- Write user stories with explicit acceptance criteria in Given/When/Then form and apply INVEST checks to catch items that are too large or too vague to start.
- Split epics into deliverable slices using workflow-step, business-rule and data-variation patterns instead of splitting by technical layer.
- Facilitate each Scrum event with a stated purpose and timebox, and recognise what degrades when sprint review or retrospective is skipped.
- Order a product backlog with structured methods such as MoSCoW, weighted scoring and cost of delay, and defend the ordering to stakeholders.
- Estimate with story points and planning estimation, then forecast a release as a best-case to worst-case range from velocity history rather than a single promised date.
- Design a Kanban board with explicit WIP limits and diagnose delays using cycle time, throughput, aging work-in-progress and cumulative flow.

Covers how the sprint goal keeps scope negotiable while the deadline stays fixed, what a usable definition of done contains, and the failure signals of each event — status-report daily scrums, demo-free reviews, and sprint planning without capacity.

Product Backlog, User Stories and Requirements Turning requests into ordered, workable backlog items: story format and its limits, acceptance criteria, epic and feature hierarchy, refinement cadence and how much detail belongs at the top of the backlog. Also handles the items stories fit badly — non-functional requirements, technical debt, spikes, defects and compliance work — and how to keep them visible rather than hidden inside other tickets.

Estimation, Velocity and Forecasting Relative sizing versus hour-based estimates, planning estimation and reference stories, capacity and team availability, and why velocity is a measurement rather than a target. You practise building a release forecast as a range from rolling velocity, reading burndown and burnup charts, spotting scope creep on a burnup line, and communicating uncertainty to stakeholders without turning an estimate into a commitment.

Kanban and Flow Metrics Visualising an existing workflow, setting explicit WIP limits, and switching from push to pull. Covers lead time versus cycle time, throughput, classes of service and expedite lanes, service level expectations, aging work-in-progress, blocker clustering and cumulative flow diagrams. Includes applying Kanban practices on top of an existing sprint cadence when replacing the process outright is not an option.

Leading the Team: Facilitation, Stakeholders and Multi-Team Work Coaching and impediment removal rather than task assignment: retrospective formats and, more importantly, follow-through on actions; handling conflict and dominant voices in a session; risk handling with resolve, own, accept and mitigate. Closes with reporting to stakeholders who expect Gantt-style updates, working in hybrid environments with fixed-scope contracts, and coordinating dependencies across several teams.

Work through the modules at your own pace in your secure panel, completing the end-of-module checks and a final assessment covering backlog construction, sprint mechanics, estimation and flow metrics. Once the final assessment is passed, your completion certificate is prepared and uploaded to the same panel within 24-48 hours, and you receive an email notification when it is available to download.
